Interdisciplinary Plan Proposal The goal of this assessment is to develop an effective proposal that will address the department of nursing's demand for enough staffing, healthy work environments, and strategies to lower employee burnout. Burnout and nursing retention are important issues that many healthcare professionals are dealing with around the world. Objective This interdisciplinary plan proposal is intended to put into practice methods and resources into place that will increase worker satisfaction, improve staff retention, and lessen nurse staff burnout rates and help with nursing staff shortages. I will be using the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) to evaluate efficiency. To make nurses more likely to want to work at their facility, health care facility will offer new and current employees competitive hourly pay, competitive incentive pays, new graduate programs, ongoing education. Additionally, the healthcare facility will support a strong leadership program to successfully implement improvements to improve staff contentment. 2.
